First Log In & Setting Your Password¶
Accessing the Homepage¶
When you're ready to explore your new GeoNode instance, go to the Hosted Services section of the GSH Dashboard and click the Service Name you chose during setup.
Alternatively, you can access your instance directly using its URL, which is available under the Service Details page.
Creating an Account¶
To set up your GeoNode account, click the Register button in the top-right corner of the homepage. Enter a username, email address, and password. Once complete, click Sign Up to create your account.
You’ll then be redirected to the GeoNode Homepage, ready to start exploring and using your new account.
Setting Up Your Profile¶
To edit your profile details, click the Avatar Icon in the top navigation bar and select Profile from the dropdown menu. On your profile page, click the Edit Profile button to update your information. You can modify details such as:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Organization information
- Contact information
- Location
- Profile picture
Once you're done, click Update Profile at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
