Creating a Map

In GeoNode, maps are interactive views made by combining multiple datasets (layers). You can use the built-in Map Composer to create, style, and save these maps as GeoNode resources. Once published, maps can be enriched with metadata, ratings, and user comments.

Step 1: Create a New Map

  1. On the Homepage, go to the Maps tab.

  2. Click the New button to open the map composer.
