Two Streams, Endless Possibilities

The Kartoza Internship prepares candidates for the workplace and builds skills, knowledge, experience, and portfolios through real-world projects.

We offer two streams: GIS Intern and Developer Intern. There's significant overlap between them - GIS interns gain coding exposure while developers learn GIS fundamentals.

Kartoza interns walk away with new or extended skills, real-world experience, and exposure to the operations of a small but dynamic and successful business.

Vac Work & School Programs

Exploring what a career in GIS looks like? We can help.

We frequently host Grade 11 or 12 students for job shadowing days, helping them understand what 'GIS' or a 'real-world IT business' is all about.

Job shadowing is allowed at our discretion and when feasible, as all of our team works remotely. For undergrad students seeking direction on specialisation, major subjects, or postgrad choices, the internship is the recommended path.

School-leavers and students seeking vac work: Please apply for an internship if you qualify!
