Fawzy is our Project Management Team Lead, a Scrum Master who brings over 15 years of IT experience to his role. His career journey from software development and GIS into project management gives him deep technical understanding of the work his teams perform.

Beginning his IT career in 2009, Fawzy spent a decade building technical expertise before transitioning to project management in 2019. This progression means he can effectively bridge the gap between technical teams and stakeholder expectations.

His geographic focus on the Middle East and Africa has given him expertise in managing projects across these diverse regions. Understanding cultural contexts, time zones, and regional requirements enables him to navigate the complexities of international project delivery.

Based in Egypt, Fawzy serves as a key connection point for Kartoza’s work in the MENA region. His local knowledge and networks complement his technical and management skills.

As a Scrum Master, Fawzy guides teams through agile processes while drawing on his development background. He understands the challenges developers face and uses this empathy to create supportive environments where teams can do their best work.
