His career has spanned development, systems administration, database administration, and solutions architecture - a breadth of experience that provides valuable perspective on infrastructure decisions.

His focus on DevOps since 2013 places him among the early adopters of this methodology. Leon understood early that breaking down silos between development and operations leads to better software and more efficient delivery.

As Technical Manager, Leon oversees Kartoza’s infrastructure strategy and guides the DevOps team. His experience across multiple technical domains enables him to make informed decisions about technology choices and architectural patterns.
