Lova is a passionate Web GIS developer specializing in building geospatial web applications. Based in Antananarivo, Madagascar, he brings a unique perspective from one of the world’s most biodiverse regions.

His technical expertise spans Python, Django, and JavaScript - the core technologies for modern web mapping applications. This combination allows him to build complete solutions from backend data processing to interactive frontend visualizations.

Lova’s focus on humanitarian geospatial initiatives aligns perfectly with Kartoza’s mission of using technology for social good. He has contributed to projects that help communities respond to challenges and make better decisions based on spatial data.

As a QGIS Full Stack Developer, Lova works on both desktop and web-based GIS solutions. His understanding of the entire stack enables him to create seamless workflows between different platforms and ensure data flows smoothly from collection to visualization.

Lova’s passion for geospatial technology extends beyond his work. He believes that maps have the power to tell stories, reveal patterns, and drive positive change - and he dedicates his skills to making that happen.
