16. User Manual: Logging In¶
16.1 Why Logging In is Important¶
Logging into Planet.com is crucial for accessing the latest NICFI imagery. Through Norway’s International Climate & Forests Initiative (NICFI), users can utilise Planet’s high-resolution, analysis-ready mosaics of the world's tropics. This data is essential for efforts to reduce and reverse the loss of tropical forests, combat climate change, and conserve biodiversity.
16.2 Logging In¶
- Login button: Click the
Login
Button. Upon clicking the sign-in form will open.
16.3 SignIn Form¶

Email Field: Enter the registered email address.

Password Field: Enter the password. This is the password the user set up during the registration process.
Check the Save credentials
box if you want the website to remember your email and password for future logins. This will keep you logged in on the same device and browser.
- Sign In Button: Click the
Sign In
button to submit the credentials.
- Agree to Terms and Conditions: By logging in, you agree to Planet.com's Terms and Conditions.
- Not a Member?: If the user is not a member and wishes to become one, contact Planet's team for assistance.
- Forgot Password?: If the user has forgotten his password, they can reset it using the Forgot Password link.
